SCE Projects is a commercial electrical, air conditioning and refrigeration company servicing a range of commercial clients across Sydney and the Central Coast.
n
We're looking for an experienced Service Operations Coordinator to take control of the day-to-day running of our service department.
n
This is not just an admin role.
n
We need someone who is organised, confident dealing with tradespeople and clients, and capable of making sure jobs keep moving from the initial call through to completion and invoicing.
n
The role will include:
n
n
Scheduling and coordinating service technicians
n
Receiving and managing reactive service calls
n
Keeping clients updated on job progress
n
Following up technicians for job reports, photos and timesheets
n
Managing planned maintenance schedules
n
Raising and tracking purchase orders
n
Following up parts and suppliers
n
Tracking defects and outstanding quotations
n
Making sure completed jobs are ready for invoicing
n
Keeping job, site and asset information up to date
n
Assisting with service reports and client documentation
n
Attending client and site meetings where required
n
Recording and following up actions from meetings
n
Keeping on top of outstanding jobs so nothing gets forgotten

Helping improve the systems and processes within the business
n
n
We currently use AroFlo, so experience with AroFlo would be ideal, however strong Simpro or similar job management software experience would also be highly regarded.
n
ABOUT YOU
n
Ideally, you will have experience working in an HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, fire, facilities management or other trade service business.
n
You don't need to be technically qualified, but you need to understand how a service business works.
n
You should be comfortable:
n
n
Coordinating multiple technicians and jobs at once
n
Dealing directly with commercial clients
n
Prioritising urgent breakdowns
n
Chasing people when information is outstanding
n
Working without needing to be told what to do next
n
Managing competing priorities
n
Taking ownership of problems and following them through
n
Using job management software such as AroFlo or Simpro
n
n
We're looking for someone who wants to become an significant part of the business and take genuine ownership of the service operation.
n
For the right person, there is plenty of scope for the role to develop into an Operations Manager or Service Manager position as the company continues to grow.
n
Salary will depend on experience and capability.
