Now Hiring Pool Lifeguards - ********* Season
Casual Positions, Multiple Locations, November **** to March ****
Are you passionate about water safety and enjoy working outdoors?
Whether you are just starting out as a Lifeguard or already have lifeguarding experience, we want to hear from you!
We are now recruiting entry level and experienced lifeguards for the upcoming ********* pool season.
If you are aged 16 or over, enjoy being part of a team and would like to play a vital role in promoting safety in and around the water, this could be a summer opportunity for you.
A variety of shifts are available, ranging from early morning swims from 6am to closing the pool up to 7pm.
We are offering $***** gross per hour (including 25% casual loading) between Monday to Friday for Lifeguards who are aged 18 or over, plus penalty rates where they apply.
What You will be Doing
As a Pool Lifeguard, your primary responsibility is ensuring a protected and enjoyable environment for all pool users.
You will:
Supervise 1-3 pools and the surrounding pool areas
Monitor patron safety both in and around the pool area
Respond promptly and professionally to emergency situations
Report incidents and risks in accordance with safety procedures
Promote water safety and responsible behaviour among patrons.
Required Qualifications and Licences
To be considered for a Pool Lifeguard position, youmusthold, or be willing to obtain the followingprior to commencing as a pool lifeguard:
NSW Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard Certificate
Provide CPR Certificate
Provide First Aid Certificate
Current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) Clearance - Employee Status
The NSW Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard qualification is an essential requirement, and applicants are required to obtain this qualification at their own expense.
Royal Life Saving NSW offers Pool Lifeguard courses regularly throughout regional NSW.
Current schedules and enrolment options are available through the NSW training portal.
Because places are limited and demand is high, it is advisable to monitor the NSW course calendar frequently and book early when dates are released.
