The Opportunity
n
We are seeking an Accountant who has a strong financial background to manage the finance operations across two exciting brands, Sydney Design School and its online partner, Interior Design Online.
n
This flexible role will be on campus at our studios in North Sydney 3 days per week. As a registered training provider accurate, timely data reporting is essential to the company's success.
n
The key areas of this role are to:
n
n
Attend to the day-to-day processing of the financial information for both brands including the accounts receivable and accounts payable requirements
n
Manage the payroll function for both staff and educators including superannuation and payroll tax reporting
n
Business Activity Statement preparation
n
Preparation of the monthly financial management reports including Balance Sheet reconciliations
n
Monthly lodgements for VET Student Loan reporting
n
n

To be considered for this role you will need to address the following selection criteria:
n
n
Strong background and work experience in finance functions
n
Experience in payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger reconciliations
n
Experience in balance sheet and profit & loss statement reporting
n
Experience with computerised accounting packages preferably Xero
n
Experience with Business Activity Statement preparation (BAS)
n
Excellent computer skills and proficiency in the Microsoft suite of programs
n
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
n
A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards
n
VET Student Loan administration and reporting
n
Experience and knowledge of the TCSI platform
n
Smart and Skilled administration and reporting
n
Budget preparation and forecast reporting
n
Payroll Tax lodgements
n
