As our services continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and compassionateRegistered Nurse (RN)to join our team and provide high-quality clinical and community nursing support to people with disability.
This is an opportunity to work collaboratively with participants, families, support workers, healthcare and allied health professionals to ensure participants with complex or ongoing clinical needs receive safe, person-centred and consistent care.

About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will play an important role in supporting participants with clinical needs and helping our care team deliver safe and effective support
This is acasual positionwith weekday availability required for at least2–3 days per week, between9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Flexible working arrangements may be available depending on participant needs and service requirements.
Key responsibilities
Developing and reviewingindividualised care plansfor participants with clinical and complex support needs.
Providingcommunity nursing services, including wound assessment and wound care.
Supportingmedication management and administrationin accordance with relevant clinical requirements and participant care plans.
Assessing participants' health needs and identifying changes that may requireclinical intervention or escalation.
Supportingmeal planning and nutrition-related needs, in collaboration with participants and relevant health professionals.
Providing guidance,



education and clinical support toDisability Support Workers and the wider care team.
Supporting participants withcomplex and critical health needs, ensuring appropriate monitoring, documentation and escalation.
Liaising withGPs, allied health professionals, families, support coordinators and other healthcare providersto promote continuity of care.
Maintaining accurateclinical records, progress notes, assessments and care documentation.
Promotingparticipant choice, dignity, independence and quality of lifewhile maintaining high standards of clinical care.
Identifying and reportingclinical risks, incidents, deterioration and safeguarding concernsin a timely and professional manner.
Contributing to a strong culture ofclinical governance, safe practice and continuous improvement.
Skills, Qualification and Experience
Degree or master's in nursing.
Minimum 2 years' experience in clinical nursing, preferably in disability, community, or aged care settings
Demonstrated ability to apply the IDDS framework (Intellectual Disability and Dementia Services) in participant care
Demonstrated knowledge and application of the NDIS Practice Standards, including clinical compliance, restrictive practices, risk assessment, and participant safeguarding
Certificate in Medication Administration Training or equivalent
Current First Aid & CPR
Current Working with Children Check




Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current Infection Prevention & Infection Certificate
MAPA training not mandatory but desirable
About You
Registered with AHPRAand able to practise as a Registered Nurse in Australia.
Experienced incommunity nursing, disability, aged care or complex care environments.
Confident providing clinical support to participants withcomplex or high support needs.
Skilled inwound care, medication management and clinical assessment.
A strong communicator who can work effectively with participants, families and multidisciplinary teams.
Compassionate, respectful and committed toperson-centred care.
Well organised, reliable and confident working both independently and as part of a team.
Committed to maintainingprofessional standards, clinical documentation and participant safety.
