ADE Power is a leading manufacturer of modular engineered generator enclosures and electrical infrastructure solutions supporting data centres, industrial facilities, and critical power applications throughout Australia.

Based in Hexham, NSW, we design, manufacture, and assemble fit-for-purpose enclosures and skid-mounted systems that ensure the reliability, safety, and continuity of essential power systems.
n
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Purchasing Officer to join our growing team and support the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for our manufacturing and project operations.
n
About the Role
n
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring materials are sourced, ordered, and delivered on time to support production schedules and project deadlines.
n
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and can build strong supplier relationships while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Raise and manage purchase orders for materials, equipment, and services
n
Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations
n
Monitor supplier lead times and delivery performance
n
Expedite orders to ensure manufacturing and project schedules are achieved
n
Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, quality, and delivery issues
n
Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier information
n
Assist with inventory replenishment and stock management activities
n
Work closely with Production, Engineering, Projects, Stores, and Finance teams
n
Support supplier onboarding and compliance activities
n
Assist with procurement reporting, spend analysis, and cost-saving initiatives
n
Resolve purchasing, delivery,



and invoice discrepancies
n
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across procurement processes
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
n
Essential
n
n
Previous experience in a purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or inventory role
n
Strong administration and organisational skills
n
Experience working with ERP or purchasing systems
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
High attention to detail and accuracy
n
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
n
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
n
n
Desirable
n
n
Experience within manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, construction, or industrial sectors
n
Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain processes
n
Experience working with technical products or project-based procurement
n
Formal qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
n
n
