About the Role
n
This is a full time, permanent Assistant Manager position based at our Browns Plains branch.
n
Working closely with the Branch Manager and wider team, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day operation of the branch while building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and staff.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
Managing stock levels, purchasing and inventory control
n
Providing exceptional counter sales and preparing accurate customer quotes
n
Responding to customer enquiries and requests in person, over the phone and via email
n
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers
n
Supporting and leading branch staff to achieve team and business goals
n
Assisting with the smooth day-to-day operation of the branch
n




Taking ownership of additional projects, initiatives and management responsibilities as required
n

About You
n
We're looking for someone who brings a combination of industry knowledge, commercial awareness and a genuine desire to succeed.

You will ideally have:
n
Previous experience in electrical wholesaling
n
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
n
Excellent verbal and written communication
n
The confidence and ability to lead, support and motivate a team
n
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
n
A proactive, solutions-focused approach
n
A genuine ambition to develop and progress within the business
n
A forklift licence and First Aid Certificate would be advantageous
n
