Founding Solutions Engineer, Sydney (hybrid working)

The chance
n
We're hiring the first Solutions Engineer on the ground in Sydney for a fast-scaling SaaS company backed by $100M in Series C funding, with a customer base that includes Netflix, Canva, and Uber.

This is a founding, high-impact IC role - you'll shape how the SE function operates locally, work directly alongside Enterprise AEs on strategic deals, and have a direct line into how the region grows from here.

What you'll do
n
Own the full pre-sales technical motion: tailored demos, technical workshops, solution scoping, and business impact cases
n
Map current-state and future-state architectures with prospects, engaging stakeholders across IT, ERP, and CRM functions
n
Translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences
n
Partner closely with Enterprise AEs to build value-based business cases, not just feature walkthroughs
n
Help define what 'great' looks like for SE in this market as the team grows
n
What you'll bring
n




5+ years' experience as a Solutions Engineer / Sales Engineer at a SaaS company with complex, enterprise-grade integrations
n
Comfortable working with RESTful APIs and can speak to integration patterns, not just platform features
n
Track record connecting multiple systems as part of a broader workflow or integration - not just configuring inside one platform
n
Strong enterprise selling instincts - you know how to navigate multi-stakeholder deals and build a business case, not just run a demo
n
Experience with ERP or CRM integration environments strongly preferred; comfortable producing architecture diagrams and leading technical workshops
n
Familiarity with MEDDPICC or a similar value-based sales framework a strong plus
n
What this isn't
n
Not a coding role - technical fluency and translation matter more than hands-on build skills
n
Not a "clicky," point-and-click platform background - this is complex, technical, integration-heavy selling
