Chainsaw Operator/ Ground Arborist | Work for Council

Are you a green-space qualified looking to grow your career in a dynamic, supportive environment? Redland City Council is seeking a proactive Arborist Team Member to join our Parks Operations team.

What You Need:
n
n
Certificate III Horticulture or Certificate II Arboriculture (with tree experience) *Desirable*
n
Current MR Class Driver's License (Medium Rigid)
n
White Card - Building and Construction Industry Certification
n
Level 1 Operate and Maintain Chainsaw certification
n
Chainsaw Fall Trees Manually (Intermediate) accreditation
n
n
What You'll Do:
n
n
Field Operations: Perform ground-based pruning, tree removals, mulching,



and planting in road reserves and parks.
n
Equipment Management: Safely operate and maintain a range of industry tools.
n
n
n
Safety : Understand safety measures and ensure the work area is kept clean and free of hazards
n
n
