Simpson Health Centre
n
Located at Yallambie, approximately 40 minutes north-east of Melbourne CBD. It is predominantly a Forces Command training base, supporting the Defence Force School of Signals (tri-service technicians and operators), Defence Force School of Music (tri-service musicians), and the Army Education Centre. The Army base services approximately 6,000 Defence members and operates a 9 bed low dependency ward 24/7. The health centre provides primary medical, nursing, physiotherapy, dental and mental health services. Standard operating hours are generally 07:*******:30 Monday to Friday. Weekday & weekend on-call shifts equally shared.

What you'll do
n

Deliver high-quality primary care to Defence members
n
Occupational Medicine environment, conducting fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care, in addition to injury management, chronic disease management and preventative health
n
Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical workplace where patient wellness is paramount e patient wellness is paramount

What you bring
n
n
Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner
n
FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration
n
Minimum 2 years' GP experience in the last 5 years in a GP Setting (GPT counts)
n
Current CPR certification (HLTAID009) - within last 12 months
n
Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
n
Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
n
