Due to continued growth and multiple project awards, they are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their high-performing team.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of large-scale commercial, healthcare, data centre, infrastructure, and industrial projects while working alongside some of the industry's most respected professionals.

The Role
n
Reporting to the Engineering Manager and Project Leadership Team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring engineering excellence, project compliance, and successful project delivery.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Leading mechanical engineering design coordination and technical delivery.
n
Reviewing and managing HVAC, mechanical services, and building services designs.
n
Providing engineering support to project and site teams.
n
Managing value engineering initiatives and design optimisation.
n
Coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
n
Supporting procurement, commissioning, and project handover activities.
n
Ensuring compliance with relevant Australian Standards and project specifications.
n
Mentoring and developing junior engineers within the business.
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
n
n
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
n
8+ years' experience within the building services or mechanical contracting sector.
n
Proven experience delivering large-scale commercial construction projects.
n
Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services systems.
n
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
n
Ability to lead technical outcomes in a rapid-paced project environment.
n
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong commercial awareness.
