Our ISS Health Team is growing, and we are currently seeking Full time Hospital Cleaners at St George Hospital (Kogarah).
n
We are looking for individuals who are able to work across weekdays Monday to Friday, with shifts between 6am and 2pm.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Safe handling of chemical and/or hazardous substances in the performance of cleaning duties
n
Decontamination of surfaces after the initial clinical waste spillage has been removed by clinical staff
n
Identifying and recording any problems relating to cleaning services and/or safety
n
Provide cleaning services in both patient and non-patient areas, adhering to infection control procedures, conducting waste removal, and undertaking infectious cleaning in designated areas
n

About you:

Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
n
Ability to work Monday to Friday
n
Police Clearance, or ability to obtain, is essential
n
Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain, is essential
n
Evidence of immunisation for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Pertussis, Diphtheria, Hep B, Polio or willingness to obtain, as per SA Health Worker policy is essential
n
