We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Coordinator to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, person-centred support across a range of community programs. As Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of community services across multiple programs within the Uniting Communities Directorate.
n
Leading with both heart and professionalism, you'll support and develop your team, oversee service delivery, drive program outcomes, and build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. You'll operate with a high level of autonomy while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and excellence.

What you'll be doing:
n
n
Leading,



mentoring and supporting a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional community services.
n
Fostering a culture that is inclusive, culturally responsive and person-centred.
n
Managing day-to-day service operations, including client allocation and resource planning.
n
Monitoring program performance to ensure contractual KPIs, quality standards and service objectives are achieved.
n
Conducting performance reviews, coaching staff and supporting professional growth.
n
Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams, community organisations, government agencies and service partners.
n
Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, risk management frameworks, WHS obligations and incident reporting processes.
n
Contributing to program development, service integration, policy implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
Collecting, analysing and reporting data to support quality outcomes and informed decision-making.
n
n
Your Qualifications & Experience
n
n
A qualification in Social Work, Social Sciences, Community Services or a related discipline.
n
Minimum 5 years' experience working with children, young people and families.
n
An understanding of child protection, family wellbeing and early intervention principles.
n
Solid leadership, communication and organisational skills.
n
Demonstrate cultural competence and experience working respectfully alongside First Nations families and children, understanding the importance of culture,



connection to Country, kinship networks and community in achieving positive outcomes.
n
Have experience supporting families from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds, using culturally responsive, trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches to build trust and engagement.
n
A current driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout the service area.

A current NSW WWCC
