Quality Analyst
n
We are seeking an experienced Quality Analyst to design and execute test collateral across integration, API, backend, and GUI levels. This role is focused on manual testing — applying strong test process knowledge and technique rather than automation scripting — to ensure changes are verified thoroughly and risk is managed effectively across complex, multi-system environments.

The
successfulcandidate
will bring hands-on experience with API testing, integration testing, and up-to-date platform tooling, along with a solid understanding of working withingovernment organisations and their associated processes and governance requirements.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test collateral to verify changes at the integration, API, backend, and GUI levels.
n
Apply appropriate test techniques and processes to ensure comprehensive coverage and risk-based test prioritisation.
n
Conduct API testing using Postman, including request/response validation, data verification, and error handling.
n
Manage test cases, execution, and defects using Tricentis qTest.
n
Support integration testing across multiple interconnected systems and platforms.
n
Contribute to contract testing activities where applicable, ensuring service interfaces meet agreed specifications.
n
Collaborate with development, business analysis, and delivery teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective test coverage.
n
Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution, ensuring clear and accurate documentation.
n
Provide status reporting and quality metrics to project and delivery stakeholders.
n
Work within government processes, standards, and governance frameworks to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
n

Essential Skills & Experience
n
n
3+ years' experience in integration testing.
n
Working knowledge of Tricentis qTest.
n
Working knowledge of Postman for API testing.
n
Strong understanding of API testing techniques and approaches.
n
Experience working withingovernment organisations.
n
Experience with AWS,including Lambda.
n
Demonstrated ability to design test collateral covering integration, API, backend, and GUI levels.
n
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
n
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
n
n
Desirable Skills & Experience
n
n
Experience with Tricentis Tosca.
n
Knowledge of contract testing techniques.
n
Experience with Kafka or other streaming platforms.
n
Familiarity with Kong (APIgateway) and Akamai.
n
n
Additional Requirements
n
n
Available to commence within 4 weeks.
n
Able to provide credible, verifiable references.
