Job Description

About the Role:
n We're looking for an experienced Assembly Supervisor to lead Assembly Line 2 at our Blacktown site. Reporting to the Production Manager – Assembly, you'll be responsible for ensuring quality products are produced and despatched on time, while maintaining strong safety standards and supporting the performance and development of the assembly team. This is a hands on leadership role suited to someone with solid manufacturing experience and a solid focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Your Day-to-Day:
n
n
Supervise the assembly team by allocating tasks and supporting daily production activities
n
Coordinate with Stores, Engineering, and other production lines to maintain steady production flow
n
Ensure production schedules, lead times, and manufacturing targets are met
n
Manage assembly team performance, attendance, and leave
n
Provide on the job training and support cross training across required skills
n
Follow and enforce SOPs for machinery and assembly processes
n
Maintain housekeeping standards across work areas
n
Identify, report, and address health and safety hazards in line with company procedures
n
Support quality checks, fault finding, and corrective actions as required
n
n
Desired Skills and Experience
n
What You'll Bring to the Role:
n
n
Leadership certification or equivalent supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
n
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical wiring schematics
n
Strong understanding of workplace health and safety regulations and practices
n
Experience with quality assurance and quality control checks
n
Continuous improvement or LEAN experience is highly desirable
n
Strong communication, problem‐solving, and team leadership skills
n
Well organised, self‐motivated, and able to work under pressure
n
Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
n
Familiarity with Epicor MES systems is an advantage
n
