About the Role CS Engineering and Agriculture is seeking a reliable and experienced tractor operator / agricultural contractor to join the team, based out of Kilmore.
n
This is a hands-on role focused on:
n
Hay contracting (mowing, raking, baling) Seeding Fertiliser and lime spreading Boom and/or pasture spraying Hours will vary with the season and workload, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Expect longer days during peak periods (hay season, sowing, etc.).
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Operate tractors and associated agricultural machinery safely and efficiently
n
Carry out hay contracting work (mowing, conditioning, raking, baling)
n
Perform seeding, fertiliser/lime spreading and spraying operations
n
Conduct daily pre-start checks,



basic maintenance and housekeeping of machinery
n
Work independently or as part of a small team on client properties
n
Maintain accurate records of work completed and any issues
n
Follow all safety, chemical and environmental requirements
n
n
Skills & Experience Required
n
n
Previous experience in agricultural contracting or farm machinery operation (tractor, hay equipment, seeders, spreaders, sprayers)
n
Competent and confident tractor operator
n
Understanding of safe chemical handling and spray application practices (ChemCert or equivalent preferred)
n
Ability to work long hours when required and adapt to changing weather and seasonal demands
n
Reliable, practical, and able to work with minimal supervision
n
Current driver's licence (HR preferred but not essential)
n
Own transport essential
n
