We're currently seeking a Quality Assurance Officer - Day Shift to join our high-performing team at our Brisbane manufacturing site in Wacol. The Role
n
Reporting to the Site Food Safety & Quality Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring our products consistently meet the highest standards of food safety, quality and compliance. Working closely with Production and cross-functional teams, you'll help drive a strong quality culture across the site while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
n
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
n
n
Perform routine in-process quality checks and finished product inspections.
n
Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
n
Support investigations into non-conformances, customer complaints and corrective actions.
n
Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory, customer and company requirements.
n
Maintain accurate QA documentation and records in line with HACCP and site procedures.
n
Collaborate with Production and other departments to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
n
Promote and champion a proactive food safety and quality culture across the site.
n




Support the implementation and ongoing development of the site's Food Safety Culture Plan.
n
Complete other duties as required by the business.

The Person
n
To be successful in this role, you'll have previous experience within Quality Assurance in a food manufacturing or FMCG setting and enjoy working collaboratively to drive best practice and continuous improvement.
n
You'll also bring:
n
n
Previous experience in a Quality Assurance role within food manufacturing or FMCG.
n
Sound knowledge of HACCP, BRCGS and food safety principles.
n
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
Confidence working in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
n
Experience using QA systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
n
A proactive approach with a commitment to continuous improvement and food safety excellence.
n
