ELECTRICAL TRADE ASSISTANT AND APPRENTICE ELECTRICIANS

Storm BNE Pty Ltd is seeking skilled and dedicated Electrical Trade Assistant and Apprentice Electricians to join our team in Brisbane, QLD. Full-time positions based at our Brisbane office located in the QLD **** postcode. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality electrical services to our clients, ensuring safety compliance and maintaining the professional standards that define our company. Your expertise will be essential to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our customers.

What you'll be doing
n
Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, equipment and fixtures in residential, commercial and industrial settings
n
Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints and electrical schematics to plan and execute work accurately
n
Conducting diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems to identify faults and implement effective solutions
n
Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with the National Electrical Code of Australia and relevant Australian standards
n
Performing safety inspections and tests on electrical installations to verify compliance and functionality
n
Collaborating with other trades and team members to ensure coordinated project delivery
n
Maintaining accurate records of work completed, materials used and time spent on projects
n
Providing professional advice to clients regarding electrical solutions and maintenance requirements
n




Operating and maintaining electrical tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
n
Responding to service calls and emergency electrical repairs in a timely manner
n
What we're looking for
n
Current electrical licence appropriate to your level of practice as recognised by the relevant Australian state regulatory authority
n
Completed apprenticeship or equivalent formal qualification in electrical work
n
Proven experience working as an Electrician in the trades and services industry, preferably in Brisbane or Queensland
n
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, circuitry and electrical safety protocols
n
Competency in reading technical drawings, blueprints and electrical diagrams
n
Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools
n
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
n
Solid communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
n
A commitment to workplace safety and adherence to health and safety regulations
n
A valid driver's licence and reliable transport for travelling to client sites
n
Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights when required
n
Preferred:



Experience in commercial or industrial electrical work, or specialisation in specific areas such as renewable energy or smart electrical systems
