Based in Murarrie, Brisbane, we specialise in fleet servicing, vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, fault finding, mechanical repairs and insurance-related work, supporting local businesses, fleet operators and the wider community.
n
As our mechanical division continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Automotive Mechanic with strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills to join our team.
n
About the Role
n
This is a great opportunity for a qualified and experienced mechanic who enjoys diagnostics, problem-solving and hands-on mechanical work and wants to play an important role in the continued growth of the workshop.
n
You will work as part of a small mechanical team, collaborating closely with the Business Director and our wider team of experienced automotive tradespeople.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Vehicle servicing and preventative maintenance
n
Mechanical and electrical diagnostics
n
Fault finding and troubleshooting
n
Identifying and accurately diagnosing vehicle faults
n
Mechanical repairs and component replacement
n
Inspection and assessment of fleet and insurance-related vehicles
n
Using diagnostic equipment and scan tools
n
Maintaining accurate job and repair information
n
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
n
n
Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent recognised qualification
n
10+ years' experience as a qualified Automotive Mechanic is highly desirable
n
Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving skills
n
Confidence using modern diagnostic equipment and scan tools
n
Sound understanding of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems
n
Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
n
Valuable organisational and time-management skills
n
Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities efficiently
n
Strong communication skills and the ability to work professionally within a team
n
A proactive, reliable and positive approach to your work
n
Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality
n
Willingness to continue developing your technical and diagnostic skills
n
A current manual driver's licence with no restrictions
n
Current working rights in Australia are essential
n
