Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our amazing team at Orthodontics Wagga Wagga. This is a full-time role based in our practice in Wagga Wagga, NSW. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Specialist Orthodontists and Oral Health Therapist.

What You'll Be Doing
n
Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments prior to patient appointments
n
Assisting Orthodontist and Oral Health Therapist with procedures by passing instruments, holding suction devices, and providing other support
n
Educating patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
n
Managing patient records and scheduling appointments
n
Maintaining a clean and organised work workplace
n
Adhering to all health, safety, and infection control protocols
n
What We're Looking For
n
No dental experience necessary. Comprehensive training on the job
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients
n




Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
n
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sterilisation
n
Willing to complete Certificate III and IV in dental assisting
n
Enthusiasm for providing exceptional patient care
n
Team player
