The Opportunity
n
We're looking for a Graduate Engineer to join our Research & Development (R&D;) team in Rosehill, NSW.
n
Reporting to the Manager, Technology Development, you'll support the delivery of engineering projects contributing to the design, fabrication and commissioning of experimental equipment while working alongside experienced engineers and scientists.
n
This is a hands‐on opportunity to build foundational engineering capability in a fast‐paced, collaborative environment.
n
The salary range for this role is $85,000-$95,000 + super.
n
What you'll do
n
n
Develop mechanical concepts and engineering solutions to support research challenges
n
Assist with the design, build, testing and commissioning of experimental units and equipment
n
Support the planning and execution of trials on experimental lines
n
Collaborate with engineers,
manufacturing teams, suppliers and vendors
n
Prepare commissioning plans and validate equipment performance
n
Track and report on project progress to key stakeholders
n
Identify opportunities for innovation by staying across emerging technologies
n
Work safely and contribute to our Zero Harm culture
n

What you'll bring
n
n
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
n
Strong analytical thinking with the ability to solve problems from first principles
n
Hands‐on approach with an interest in prototyping and testing
n
Ability to develop and interpret mechanical designs
n
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
n
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering/design tools
n
