TankQ is an exciting branch of a rapidly growing industrial service company, currently providing tank cleaning, traffic management and rescue and safety services across the country.
n
We are seeking experienced industrial confined space/tank cleaners to assist with projects in Henderson, Garden Island and surrounding areas in WA.
n
Our projects involve industrial cleaning and jetting of confined spaces with an established environmental, safety and quality system.
n
You will need to have a willingness to remain compliant at all times to ensure all people in the hazardous setting remain safe. The role involves work in Confined Spaces and use of breathing apparatus.
n
Duties will include:
n
n
Test and monitor the atmosphere of confined spaces
n
Maintain testing equipment
n
Safe transportation of the cleaning/vacuum equipment to the work site
n
Work site preparation to ensure safety of self and others
n
Set up of cleaning equipment including safety checks
n
Adhere to issued permit requirements
n
Apply industrial cleaning techniques with high and low pressure water blasting to achieve required level of cleanliness
n
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
n
n




To be successful in this role, you will require the following skills and attributes:

Able to work to a consistent standard

Reliability and punctuality
n
Have a great attitude and approach to teamwork
n
At least 12 months experience in the tank cleaning industry
n
n
Essential qualifications to be held:
n
n
National Police Clearance & International Police Clearance if non-Australian Citizen
n
Construction Induction (White Card);
n
Enter and Work in Confined Space;
n
Operate open circuit breathing apparatus (VET sector qualification or equivalent);
n
Gas test atmospheres
n
Candidates must be eligible to work in Australia (Citizen, Permanent Resident or Visa Holder)
n
n
Desirable qualifications:
n
n
Heavy Rigid Drivers License
n
High Pressure Water Jetting – Assistant or Operator
n
n
n
Full time hours and overtime available
