At Royal Freemasons, we're looking for an experienced and proactive Maintenance Officer to join our team on a part-time basis, working four days per week (8:00am to 4:00pm).

Ideally, the successful candidate will be available to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

About the Role
n
Based at one of our Residential Aged Care homes in Melbourne's western suburbs, this hands‐on role is responsible for ensuring the facility, grounds, and equipment are maintained to a high standard.
n
You will undertake a range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks, coordinate contractors, support compliance activities, and contribute to a safe and welcoming workplace for residents, visitors, and staff.
n
This position is ideal for a practical and reliable professional with broad maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.

This is a part-time position working four days per week (8:00am to 4:00pm), ideally Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and offers a salary of$70,000 pro rataplus access to generous salary packaging benefits.

What You will Bring:
n
n
Trade qualification and/or extensive maintenance experience
n




Experience in general maintenance and grounds work (aged care experience preferred)
n
Practical skills across carpentry, plumbing, electrical and general repairs
n
Strong ability to plan, organise and prioritise competing tasks
n
Solid computer literacy; CMMS/asset management experience valued
n
Experience coordinating contractors and service providers
n
Understanding of scheduled maintenance programs
n
Current full Victorian driver's licence
n

This role requires a valid Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance. All aged care workers are encouraged to maintain up‐to‐date COVID‐19 (3 doses) and influenza vaccinations.
