Q Industries is an established, Australian-owned lighting manufacturer, designing and building commercial architectural lighting since ****. We're looking for a hands‐on Warehouse Assembly worker to join our close-knit warehouse team.

The Role
n
You'll work across our full product range, with a primary focus on our linear extrusion product. Day to day, this includes:
n
Procuring and assembling lighting components and luminaires
n
Measuring and cutting aluminium extrusions from shop drawings using our digital saw
n
Operating our CNC routing machine
n
Internal wiring of LED boards and drivers
n
Using battery power tools
n
Assembling other products as required
n
This is an assembly role, not a machinist role, no CNC or Cutting Saw experience is needed but desired. If you've got basic mechanical aptitude, we'll train you on all our equipment.



It's a physically active role involving standing and manual handling throughout the shift.

Hours
n
7:00am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime and Saturday work available during busy periods, no weekend work required otherwise.

Reporting
n
You'll be part of the warehouse team, reporting to the Warehouse Manager, based at our Epping factory.
n
What You'll Need
n
Accurate measuring skills and the ability to read shop drawings
n
Attention to detail, with a reliable and methodical approach
n
The right to work in Australia
n
A forklift licence is desirable but not essential
n
