Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Civil Leading Hand to oversee a team of up to 15 labourers and operators on a large-scale residential subdivision project in Canungra.

You'll report directly to the Site Manager and lead the drainage, pipe and stormwater crew, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate a crew of up to 15 workers
n
Delegate tasks and monitor daily progress
n
Oversee pipe laying, drainage and stormwater works
n
Train and support team members
n
Conduct toolbox/safety talks
n
Complete daily work records
n
Monitor quality and ensure works meet project requirements
n
Work hands-on and operate machinery when required
n
n
About You
n
n
Proven experience leading teams of 5-20 civil workers/operators
n
Robust experience working on civil pipe crews
n




Solid understanding of pipe laying on residential subdivision projects
n
White Card
n
Driver's licence and own transport
n
Physically fit and comfortable working hands on
n
Reliable and available Monday-Friday, 6:30am-5:00pm
n
Live within approximately 30 minutes of Canungra
n
Roller and/or Excavator tickets are highly desirable.
n
n
$*****-$*****/hr + penalties + $2.00/hr Leading Hand Allowance + $***** daily travel allowance.
n
This is a long-term opportunity with approximately 2-3 years of work remaining on the current project. For the right leader, there is potential to transition into a permanent position, including a company vehicle.
