About the role
Field Service Technician / Diesel Fitter supporting mobile plant equipment operations.
You'll service, diagnose, and repair mobile plant and crushing/screening equipment, attending customer sites across Tasmania, conducting hydraulic and electrical testing/troubleshooting, performing pre-delivery inspections and commissioning new machines, and completing service reports while providing technical support to customers.
Key responsibilities
Servicing, diagnosing, and repairing mobile plant and crushing/screening equipment
Attending customer sites across Tasmania
Conducting hydraulic and electrical testing/troubleshooting and major component replacements
Performing pre-delivery inspections and commissioning new machines
Completing service reports and providing technical support to customers
About you
Trade qualification: Cert III Mechanical, Diesel/Plant Mechanic, or equivalent
Solid experience with heavy mobile plant or materials processing equipment
Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Current forklift licence or willingness to obtain
Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with customers and the branch team
Practical,

Confident working autonomously across regional customer sites
Professional and reliable, with good time-management skills
Willing to continue growing through internal and OEM training programs
