The Youth Enhanced Services (YES) program supports young people aged ***** experiencing severe and complex mental health challenges.
Delivered through the CCQ Mental Health AOD Hubs, the program offers multidisciplinary care, therapeutic interventions, and community connection to help young people thrive.
Part or Full time ********** FTE) position
Based in the Maryborough, Hervey Bay or Gympie region, with hybrid and flexible working arrangements
$***** - $***** per hour + 12% super + salary packaging up to $18,550 per year (based on qualifications and experience)
Your role, your impact
As a Senior Mental Health Clinician, you'll lead the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based therapy to young people, while mentoring junior clinicians and contributing to service development.
You'll work closely with families, schools, and local services to create coordinated care plans that make a real difference in young lives.
You will work from home, see clients in the community, work from headspace office, or work from one of our hubs.
What you'll be doing
Lead and deliverspecialist counselling using CBT, DBT, ACT and other modalities
Support and mentorjunior clinicians to maintain high service standards
Collaboratewith local stakeholders to ensure integrated care
Documentclinical work accurately and meet service targets
Participatein supervision, team meetings, and referral pathway development
Who we're looking for
Experience in individual therapy with adolescents
Understanding of trauma, youth mental health, and recovery principles




Experience in delivering evidence based therapies including CBT, DBT and ACT
Qualifications
A minimum Bachelor qualification in Counselling, Social Work (or Master of Social Work), Occupational Therapy or Nursing with a Mental Health specialisation
Current registration with a professional body
