Fuse Recruitment are seeking experienced 8 Tonne forklift operators with Industrial Machine Operating experience for immediate starts in Carole Park. $***** p/hr + Super with all over time paid at double time pay rates!

4 on 4 off shift pattern

2 days working 6am to 6pm

Then 2 days working 6pm to 6am

$***** p/hr + Super flat rate
n
All Overtime paid at double time rates

Working RDO's paid at Double time rates (for the full 12 hour shift!)

The Role: 4 on 4 off Forklift / Machine Operator
n
As a key member of the Manufacturing Team, the Machine & Forklift Operator's primary purpose is to manufacture product in accordance with specification in a safe and timely manner. Every shift starts with a 15 minute start up meeting to set out your daily activities.
n
Your main duties will involve:
n
Forklift Operating:
n
n
Forklift pre-start checklist daily
n
Operating 8 Tonne forklifts
n
Loading and unloading B-Doubles, Semi trailers, Interstate and linehaul trucks
n
Loading of oversized goods on up to 6 metre long pallets
n




Unloading off machinery and moving product to necessary location
n
Putting stock away and moving stock around using the forklift
n
Placing gluts onto packs to assist in the loading
n
Splitting packs
n
Sorting through damaged stocks
n
n
Machine Operation:
n
n
Monitoring the flow of products into machines, and adjusting valves and controls to specifications
n
Operating concrete mixing, stacking and splitting machines
n
Setting up and installing moulds and other machine fixtures
n
Collecting and examining samples for conformity to specifications and adjusting machine settings accordingly
n
Setting grinding and cutting edges
n
Carry out work in a secure manner, in accordance with Safety procedures as applicable
n
Ensure process efficiencies are achieved and maintained
n
Ensure production is in line with the specified production schedule
n
Ensure product quality is in accordance with relevant specification
n
n
Shift Available:
n
n
2 days working 6am to 6pm then,
n
2 days working 6pm to 6am
n
7 day working roster
n
n
The Candidate:
n
n
8 Tonne forklift Operation
n
Industrial Manufacturing Machine operating experience
n
Loading and unloading B-doubles, Semi trailers and line haul
n
Wrapping and strapping of products and oversized pallets
n
Setting up and maintaining manufacturing machinery
n
QA and quality checks / lab testing experience is highly advantageous
n
Previously having worked in a Night shift / rotating shift pattern position
n
Previously worked in roles where manual handling up to 20kg products was involved
n
Previously worked in roles with Timber or cement products in highly advantageous
n
