Yering Station is seeking experienced and motivated Vineyard Operator to join our team on a full-time basis. Based in the heart of the beautiful Yarra Valley, Yering Station produces a range of award-winning wines truly expressive of the Yarra Valley's terroir including classics Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Shiraz Viognier and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as sparkling wine released under the Yarrabank label

Weed control

Mowing/trimming

Pest management

Disease monitoring and control

Soil moisture monitoring and control

Irrigation system operations and maintenance

Accurate record keeping

You will need the ability to work either within a team environment and follow directives or work independently without supervision. Reporting to the Vineyard Manager, you will work internally with our existing vineyard and garden team.

The potential candidate must be a Strong Team player who is committed to achieving company goals in a dynamic workplace, must possess strong problem-solving skills along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, flexible and have a hands-on approach to help manage the five vineyard sites.

Chemical user certificate is a bonus but not required.
n
First aid training will be supplied.
n
Manual driver's License required.
n
Some Email, Excel & Word Skills.
n
Must be an Australian resident or those who already have a valid Australian working visa.
