About the Role
n
We have an chance for an Accountant to join our Group Finance Reporting team and support the delivery of high-quality, timely and accurate Group financial reporting, analysis and insights.
n
Supporting Group consolidated reporting processes, you'll partner with operating companies and Group teams to ensure consistent reporting standards, strong financial governance and continuous improvement across reporting, data quality and controls.
n
You'll also contribute to quarterly Board reporting, statutory reporting and reporting to CIMIC's parent company, HOCHTIEF.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Prepare month-end and quarter-end consolidations, including cash flow reporting, analysis and commentary
n
Review reporting submissions from operating companies and assess key financial drivers and accounting treatments
n
Support quarterly reporting requirements to CIMIC's parent company, HOCHTIEF
n
Contribute to quarterly performance reporting for senior management and Board stakeholders
n
Assist in the preparation of semi-annual IFRS financial statements
n
Support external audit processes, including preparation of accounting papers and supporting documentation




n
Contribute to reporting improvements, automation initiatives and data quality enhancements through OneStream
n
Build and maintain strong relationships with operating company finance teams to support consistent reporting standards and outcomes
n
Partner with Treasury, Tax and FP&A; Finance teams to support reporting and analysis activities
n

About You
n
n
Experience within Audit, Financial Reporting or Group Finance environments
n
Strong understanding of financial reporting, consolidation principles and accounting standards
n
Experience working within large, complex or multi-entity organisations
n
Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline
n
Ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholder groups
n
Comfortable working in a deadline-driven reporting environment
n
Curious by nature, with an interest in understanding the commercial drivers behind financial performance
n
