Job Description
Our client, Fresh Fades Barber Shop, is seeking a skilled and experienced Hairdresser to join their professional team on a full-time basis.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
n
n
Consulting with clients to recommend suitable hairstyles, haircuts and grooming services based on their preferences and hair type.
n
Shampooing, conditioning and preparing hair for cutting, styling and other hair treatments.
n
Cutting, trimming and styling hair using scissors, clippers, razors and other professional barbering tools.
n
Performing modern fades, taper cuts and contemporary men's hairstyles with precision.
n
Shaving, trimming and shaping beards and moustaches using clippers and straight razors.
n
Applying hair colouring, bleaching, straightening and other chemical treatments where required.
n
Recommending and advising clients on hair care products and ongoing hair maintenance.
n
Maintaining a clean,



hygienic and safe work environment by sanitising tools and workstations in accordance with health and safety standards.
n
Managing client appointments, providing excellent customer service and processing payments.
n
Assisting in maintaining stock levels of hair care and grooming products and ensuring salon presentation standards are maintained.
n

Requirements for the Role:
n
n
Certificate III or higher qualification in Hairdressing or a closely related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
n
At least one year of full time relevant work experience as a Hairdresser or Barber.
n
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
n
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and workplace safety.
n
