Emmanuel Christian Community School is a co-educational K–12 school located in Perth's northern suburbs. We invite applications from suitably qualified, enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teachers to join our team. This is a part-time permanent position commencing at the beginning of Term 1, ****. The successful applicant will have a genuine passion for nurturing and educating primary-aged students and will create a warm, safe and engaging learning workplace in which students are known, valued and supported to grow.

Essential requirements

The successful applicant will:

actively support and promote the objectives and ethos of Christian education as articulated in the School's Vision and Mission.
n
be a committed Christian who is actively involved in a local church and has a strong sense of calling to Christian education and this ministry.
n
demonstrate sound knowledge of and proficiency in the Western Australian Curriculum.
n
demonstrate effective organisational and professional practice.
n
possess strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to contribute positively and collaboratively within a team.

Selection Criteria

Applicants must provide specific evidence from their professional practice, using examples that demonstrate the context, actions taken and resulting impact in each of the following areas:
n

High-impact teaching practices: evidence of research-informed and evidence-based teaching practices that have resulted in student growth and progress.
n
Literacy and numeracy teaching: evidence of strong knowledge and successful application of effective literacy and numeracy teaching practices in the primary years.
n
Assessment and data-informed practice: evidence of the effective use of assessment, student data and feedback to identify learning needs, inform teaching and monitor student progress.
n
Inclusive practice and student wellbeing: evidence of successfully responding to diverse student strengths and needs while creating safe, engaging and supportive learning environments.
n
Collaboration and relationships: evidence of effective collaboration with colleagues and families to strengthen student learning and wellbeing.
n
Reflective practice and professional contribution: evidence of critical reflection, ongoing professional growth and positive contribution to team and whole-school improvement.
