The QuickTurn Hospitality is seeking an experienced Baker / Pastry Chef to join one of our client bakeries in Richmond, NSW. This is a full-time opportunity located in the regional area of Richmond, offering a supportive work environment and excellent career growth opportunities.

To be considered for the position you must have extensive experience working in a busy venue.
n
Responsibilities:
n
n
Preparing and baking a range of breads, pastries, and other bakery items.
n
Checking the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients
n
Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough
n
Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times
n
Coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread,



rolls and pastry products
n
Glazing buns and pastries
n
Operating machines which roll and mould dough
n
Emptying, cleaning and greasing baking trays, tins and other cooking equipment
n
Checking the cleanliness of equipment and operation of premises before production runs to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
n
n
Experience and Requirements:
n
n
Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in a professional kitchen environment
n
Experience training, developing, and mentoring kitchen teams
n
Solid communication and leadership skills
n
Passionate about the hospitality industry
n
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
n
n
