Tropical Lawns is seeking a reliable and hardworking Casual Turf Installer to join our growing installation team.
n
Working as part of a three-person turf installation crew, you will install premium turf across residential and commercial properties throughout the Cairns region. This is a hands-on outdoor role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, working as part of a team, and taking pride in delivering quality results.

About the Role
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Installing turf at domestic and commercial properties to company quality standards
n
Preparing, laying, cutting, joining, and finishing turf professionally
n
Handling turf products safely to minimise damage and wastage
n
Using hand tools, turf rollers, and installation equipment
n
Applying fertilisers safely in accordance with company procedures
n
Maintaining clean, safe, and professional worksites
n
Communicating respectfully with customers, supervisors, and team members
n
Following all workplace health and safety procedures
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
A current driver's licence and your own car are essential
n
The ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work
n
A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
n




Positive attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
n
The ability to work well within a small team
n
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
n
n
Experience is not essential — we are willing to train the right person who demonstrates reliability, commitment, and the right attitude.
