About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking experienced CNC Machinists and CNC Operators to join an established precision engineering business specialising in CNC machining and manufacturing. The business works across a range of industries including aviation and aerospace, automotive, defence, construction and communications, producing precision components from materials including aluminium, brass, plastics and other metals.

About the Role
n
n
CNC turning and milling
n
CNC machine setup and operation
n
CNC programming and editing
n
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
n
Producing precision‐machined components
n
Measuring and inspecting finished components
n
Using precision measuring equipment
n
Loading and unloading materials
n
Basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting
n
Working to production schedules and quality requirements
n
Maintaining high standards of accuracy and workmanship
n
Following all workplace health and safety procedures
n




Experience with grinding, drilling and other machining processes will also be highly regarded.

About You
n
n
Previous experience in CNC machining or CNC operation
n
Experience with CNC turning, CNC milling, or both
n
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
n
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
n
Experience using measuring and inspection equipment
n
Understanding of machining processes and tolerances
n
Robust commitment to quality and safety
n
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
CNC programming experience will be highly regarded. Relevant trade qualifications and machining experience are also desirable.
