Reporting to the Manager Strategic Planning and Growth, you'll lead Council's Growth Management Program, delivering strategic planning initiatives that support housing, infrastructure and sustainable regional development.
n
Duties
n
n
Lead Council's Growth Management Strategy and major planning projects
n
Deliver structure planning, land supply and growth sequencing initiatives
n
Provide expert advice on strategic planning and development outcomes
n
Build partnerships with government agencies, developers and industry stakeholders
n
Manage consultants and deliver projects on time and within budget
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
n
n
Degree in Urban Planning, Development Management or a related discipline
n
Experience in growth management,



strategic planning or land use planning
n
Experience developing Master Plans and negotiating Infrastructure Agreements
n
Strong knowledge of Queensland planning legislation
n
Current Queensland C Class Driver Licence or ability to obtain one
n
Earn $120K to $127K PLUS 15% Employer Super
n
Super increases to 16% from July ****
n
Relocation Assistance available for eligible candidates
