Due to continued growth, Weinig Australia is expanding our sales team and is looking for motivated Sales Representatives in QLD who have a passion for machinery and helping customers improve their production.
n
The Opportunity
n
This role combines technical understanding, relationship building and solution-based sales. You will work closely with customers to understand their production processes and recommend machinery solutions that improve efficiency, quality and profitability. You will be supported by a strong internal team including service technicians, spare parts specialists and administration.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Develop and manage relationships with existing and recent customers
n
Identify opportunities and prepare machine proposals and quotations
n
Present and negotiate solutions tailored to customer production needs
n
Analyze customer manufacturing processes and recommend optimal machinery solutions
n
Work closely with internal departments including service, spare parts, administration and management
n




Manage projects from initial enquiry through to installation and after-sales support
n
Represent the company at trade shows, industry events and customer demonstrations
n
Maintain activity tracking and opportunities within CRM systems
n
n
About You
n
We are looking for someone who is technically minded, customer focused and passionate about machinery.
n
Ideally you will bring:
n
n
Sales experience in machinery, manufacturing or industrial equipment
n
Experience in the woodworking industry (preferred but not essential)
n
A good understanding of manufacturing or production processes
n
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
n
A proactive and self-motivated approach to sales
n
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
n
Solid computer skills including CRM systems and Microsoft Office / Office 365
n
Willingness to travel within your territory and occasionally interstate or overseas
n
n
