Role Overview
Seeking an experiencedPurchaserto manage day-to-day procurement activities for a major infrastructure project.
The role will coordinate local sourcing, supplier engagement, purchase orders, expediting and delivery of materials, equipment, consumables and services.
Key Responsibilities
Managelocal procurement, RFQs, quotations and purchase orders.
Source and negotiate with suppliers forcompetitive pricing and delivery.
Track and expedite orders to meetproject and site requirements.
Coordinate withWarehouse, Engineering, Logistics and Financeon procurement needs.
Maintain procurement records and ensurecompliance with purchasing procedures.




Required Skills & Experience
5+ years' experience inpurchasing/procurement, preferably in construction, infrastructure, energy, mining or heavy industry.
Strong experience withRFQs, supplier evaluation, negotiations, purchase orders and expediting.
Experience usingSAP or other ERP/procurement systems.
Solid commercial awareness and supplier management skills.
Advanced organisational, communication and Excel skills.
Experience with major infrastructure or construction projects is highly desirable.
