This is a permanent role with consistent work — not a casual placement that dries up when the project ends.

No "attractive rate" guessing games — here's the actual maths: $*****/hr base + $5.00/hr productivity + $40/day travel (worth ~$5/hr) = $*****/hr - under our Single Enterprise Agreement, so add super and full EBA conditions with a 36-hour week on top of that.

Our work spans feature and architectural lighting, general and dedicated power, and full structured cabling backbones (copper and fibre), with a solid pipeline booked ahead.

The Role
n
We're looking for motivated Licensed Electricians for an immediate start across our commercial fitout and industrial projects in the Sydney CBD and surrounds. Consistent work, regular overtime available, and genuine variety — high-end fitouts, structured cabling and comms installs (copper and fibre, rough-in to termination and testing), comms room builds,



lighting control and feature lighting. If you've got comms cabling skills or want to build them, you'll get plenty of it here.

Effectively $*****/hr all-in: $*****/hr EBA base + $5.00/hr productivity + $40/day travel (worth ~$5/hr) - full EBA rates and conditions

Leading Hand applications welcome - $*****/hr base + allowances (effectively $*****/hr+ all-in) for the right experience

36-hour week - 2 RD's every 4 Weeks

Responsibilities
n
n
Install electrical & communications cabling systems, components and equipment to high-end specifications and relevant codes
n
Rough-in and fit-off across CBD commercial fitout projects — general and dedicated power, feature and architectural lighting, automated lighting control and clients' critical infrastructure
n




Structured cabling installs — copper and fibre, containment and cable support systems, termination, testing and vendor certification
n
Comms room builds (MCR/FCR) — including the critical power supply, UPS systems & switchboards, racking, stacking, patching and associated IT equipment & infrastructure
n
Fault-finding, testing and commissioning using appropriate test instruments
n
Read and interpret electrical, architectural and services drawings — and coordinate with other trades on live sites
n
Mentor and supervise apprentices coming up behind you, in line with company supervision policy
n
Deliver quality workmanship safely, to program, and to the standard a high-end finish demands

Requirements
n
n
Current NSW Electrical licence
n
Completed electrical qualification
n
Current Australian driver's licence - well regarded
n
Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card)
n
Full working rights in Australia
n
Experience in
communications/structured
cabling or Cert III Telecommunications well regarded (not essential)

You'll run a crew on our projects with real support behind you — our current PMs came up exactly this way, from Leading Hand to running multi-million dollar projects. Leading Hand EBA rate is effectively $*****/hr+ all-in.
