HRD Transport is seeking an experienced and reliable HC Dry Bulk Powder Tanker Driver to join our team on a full-time basis.
n

THE ROLE
n
Based in Canberra, this role involves the transportation and delivery of dry bulk powder products from Port Kembla and Berrima to various locations throughout the region, including:
n

Canberra
n
Wagga Wagga
n
Leeton
n
West Wyalong
n
Lake Cargelligo
n
Cowra
n
Other regional locations as required
n
n
Overnight travel will be required as part of the role.
n
The successful applicant will be responsible for the protected and efficient operation of the vehicle, loading and unloading of product, completing required documentation and providing a professional level of service to our customers.
n
ABOUT YOU
n
n
Holds a current HC licence – essential
n
Has experience driving heavy vehicles, preferably bulk tanker experience
n
Has BFM accreditation – advantageous
n
Has a strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n




Takes genuine pride in their vehicle and presentation
n
Is professional, reliable and highly motivated
n
Has an excellent work ethic and a positive attitude
n
Has excellent communication and customer service skills
n
Is able to follow instructions and company procedures
n
Can work confidently and safely unsupervised
n
Is punctual, dependable and well presented
n
Understands the importance of safe driving and responsible vehicle operation
n
Is willing to undertake overnight trips as required
n

The successful applicant will also be required to undergo a criminal record check prior to commencement.
