As they continue their investment and growth journey with the ambition of becoming South Australia's largest pure-play gold producer, they are expanding their finance capability and seeking a motivated Accountant to join the Adelaide-based team.

The Opportunity
n
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this newly created role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and gain exposure to the financial operations of an ASX-listed resources company. It is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional looking to develop their career within a growing organisation.

As Accountant, you will work across a broad range of accounting responsibilities, including financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, taxation and process improvement, while helping build scalable finance systems to support the company's growth.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Assist with the preparation of annual and half-year financial statements
n
Prepare monthly management reports and variance analysis
n
Support the development and enhancement of accounting and financial reporting systems
n
Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting and reconciliation processes
n
Reconcile company bank accounts and manage banking relationships
n
Prepare and lodge BAS and assist with FBT and income tax returns
n
Manage accounts payable processes and purchase order reconciliations
n
Process and administer monthly payroll accurately and on time
n
Assist with financial compliance and regulatory reporting requirements
n




Provide general administrative support and participate in ad hoc finance projects
n

About You
n
You are a proactive and detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and taking ownership of your work. You are comfortable managing competing priorities and are eager to contribute to a collaborative and growing team.

Previous accounting experience in a commercial environment
n
Robust technical accounting expertise across ERP systems, GL, and month‐end processes
n
Proven experience with statutory reporting, tax compliance and payroll
n
Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills
n
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with internal and external stakeholders
n

Highly Regarded
n
n
Experience within the mining, resources or ASX-listed company environment
n
Knowledge of company reporting requirements
n
Exposure to ASX Listing Rules and listed company compliance obligations
n
