Why This Role?
n
Due to continued growth and increasing client demand,
we are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Melbourne team and national Professional Indemnity practice. Working alongside recognised leaders in the field, you will advise insurers and insured professionals across a broad range of complex and high-value claims.
n
You will gain exposure to sophisticated litigation and dispute resolution matters involving a variety of professions, providing both intellectual challenge and genuine career progression opportunities.

Skills and Experiences
n
Who Are You?
n
n
Has 4-7 years' post-admission experience (PAE) in professional indemnity insurance litigation and dispute resolution.
n
Has the ability to manage client expectations and run matters autonomously.
n
Has excellent written and verbal communication skills and can adapt their communication style to different audiences.
n
Is self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
n
Is practical and client-focused in their approach to solving problems.
n
Has experience in business development and a natural ability to build and maintain strong relationships with our industry-leading clients
n
Is a team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues and has the ability to coach, mentor and develop junior lawyers, taking satisfaction in seeing them succeed
n
Demonstrates sound commercial judgment and confidence in managing litigation strategy and client relationships
n
