We are seeking a motivated and reliable Grounds and Maintenance Officer to join our close-knit team. This is an chance to take pride in maintaining beautifully presented grounds and facilities while building positive relationships with residents and colleagues alike.

About the Role
n
As a Grounds and Maintenance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring our Estate remains safe, attractive, and well-maintained. Working as part of a dedicated team of three, you will contribute to the presentation and upkeep of the community, helping create an workplace that residents are proud to call home.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lawn mowing, edging, line trimming, and general lawn care.
n
Pruning, hedging, mulching, planting, and garden maintenance.
n
Weed control and seasonal garden improvements.
n
Installation, operation, and maintenance of irrigation systems.
n
Routine preventative maintenance of buildings, facilities, and equipment.
n
Undertaking minor repairs and general maintenance tasks across the Estate.
n
Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and orderly condition.
n
Responding promptly to maintenance requests and ensuring a high standard of presentation throughout the community.
n

Skills and Experience
n
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
n
n
Experience in groundskeeping, gardening, landscaping, or horticulture.
n
Knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, and gardening equipment.
n
Experience undertaking general building or property maintenance tasks.
n
The ability to identify maintenance issues and implement practical solutions.
n
Good communication skills and a customer focused approach.
n
The ability to work safely, both independently and as part of a team.
n
n
Qualifications and Licences
n
n
Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence.
n
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
n
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
n
n

Permanent full-time position (38 hours per week).

Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm.
