Operations Assistant - Finance & Administration

Are you a multi-skilled skilled with an eye for detail? Join an industry leader in tower cranes and hoists as an Operations Assistant, supporting our Operations Manager and Finance Manager within a small, close-knit project management and accounts team.
n
This is a true dual-function role - split between finance administration and operations support - so you'll need to be comfortable moving between the two and switching gears as priorities shift. It's a genuinely varied, full-time position where accuracy and organisation matter as much as adaptability.

Key Responsibilities
n

Support the Project Managers with day-to-day operational tasks
n
Assist the Finance Manager with accounts payable, payroll, and general finance duties
n
Checking rosters, timesheets, and payroll data entry
n
Coordinate plant commissioning paperwork
n
Coordinate plant and equipment servicing records
n
Provide general administrative support to both managers
n
Prepare ad-hoc reports and maintain accurate data records
n

About You
n
n




Multi-skilled with a strong finance/numerical aptitude - comfortable across both operations and accounts-based tasks
n
High attention to detail is essential; accuracy in data entry and documentation is critical to this role
n
Around 2 years' experience in a similar role, ready to step up
n
Qualification in finance administration, contract administration, operations assistant or similar (preferred)
n
Prior operations administration experience within the construction industry highly regardedConfident with payroll software, reporting systems, and Excel;
n
Accurate with word and numerical data entry
n
Professional, personable, with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
n
