Educational Interpreters play a critical role in ensuring equitable access to the curriculum, classroom instruction, and school life by providing high-quality Auslan-English interpreting services.

About the Role
n
As a Teacher Aide (Educational Interpreter - Auslan), you will:
n
n
Provide Auslan-English interpreting in classroom and school settings
n
Support Deaf and Hard of Hearing students to access curriculum content and classroom interactions
n
Work collaboratively with teachers, specialists and school leadership
n
Maintain professional interpreting standards and ethical boundaries
n
Contribute to inclusive education practices and culturally protected learning environments
n
n
Appointments may be Permanent or Temporary, Full-time or Part-time, depending on school need and available vacancies.
n
