The Chance
n
As our Dealership Accountant, you'll work closely with our finance team and dealership managers, helping keep the numbers accurate, the reporting on track and the business moving.
n
You'll be involved in:
n
n
Monthly dealership accounts and financial reporting
n
Balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
n
Bank, floorplan and manufacturer reconciliations
n
Vehicle deal accounting and deal processing
n
Month-end and year-end processes
n
BAS and statutory reporting support
n
Reviewing debtors, creditors and outstanding transactions
n
Investigating and resolving accounting discrepancies
n
Supporting dealership managers with financial information
n
Helping improve processes and financial controls across the business
n

What We're Looking For
n
We're looking for someone who knows dealership accounting and can confidently step into the role.
n




You'll ideally bring:
n
n
Minimum 2 years' accounting experience within an automotive dealership – essential
n
Strong knowledge of dealership accounting processes
n
Experience with month-end reporting and reconciliations
n
Strong Excel skills
n
Excellent attention to detail
n
The ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities
n
A practical, solutions-focused approach
n
Great communication skills and the confidence to work with managers across the business
n
Experience with automotive dealer management systems will be highly regarded
n
