We're partnering with a leading Queensland technology organisation to appoint a Head of Platform Operations and Reliability. This is an opportunity to lead a team of more than 25 platform, infrastructure and cloud professionals through their cloud transformation.

While you'll bring a strong understanding of cloud platforms and enterprise technology environments, we're looking for a leader who has successfully guided teams through transformation, built capability and created an engaged, collaborative culture.

Reporting to a senior executive, you'll lead Platform Operations and work closely with Architecture, Engineering, Security and Product teams to support the organisation's ongoing transition from on-premises infrastructure to modern cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop a team of more than 25 platform, infrastructure and cloud professionals.
n
Build a high-performing, team-oriented culture focused on engagement, accountability and continuous improvement.
n




Lead the operational transition from on-premises infrastructure to cloud operating models.
n
Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across Platform Operations.
n
Partner with Architecture, Engineering, Security and Product teams to deliver secure, reliable and scalable platforms.
n
Oversee operational performance, service management and platform support.
n
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and influence outcomes at all levels.
n

About you

You'll be an experienced technology leader who enjoys developing people as much as improving technology.

You'll bring:
n
n
Experience leading Platform Operations, Infrastructure or Technology Operations teams.
n
Demonstrated experience leading teams through cloud transformation, including migration from on-premises environments.
n
A proven ability to lead change, build engagement and develop high-performing teams.
