Responsibilities

Support the team with data gathering, analysis and pitch preparation.
n
Manage internal transaction approval processes.
n
Build and maintain client relationships, acting as key point of contact for selected clients.
n
Work independently and with senior team members in the origination and execution of transactions.
n
Develop execution expertise across all relevant global Debt Capital Markets.
n
Develop and manage a network of internal and external derivatives providers to facilitate cross‐currency basis and other issuance related hedging.
n
Develop relationships with DCM colleagues in UBS Australian and offshore offices to build market awareness and a network.
n
Apply research, business analysis and financial modelling skills; use market knowledge to identify opportunities.
n
Keep abreast of developments in global markets; maintain working knowledge of investment banking products.
n

Qualifications
n
n




University graduate with strong academic results and a track record of success, both academically and professionally.
n
At least 2 years' work experience gained from investment banking, accountancy, law, strategic consultancy or a similar financial services profession.
n
Team player with strong origination, derivative and interpersonal skills.
n
Committed to a career in investment banking.
n
Ability to work under pressure to produce presentation material and financial analysis quickly and accurately.
n
Strong attention to detail, resilience and enthusiasm to excel in a competitive and rewarding team atmosphere.
