Signs by Knight are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Signwriters to join their team in Wodonga VIC. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
n
n
Engaging in discussions with clients and assessing proposals, sketches, and written instructions to determine the composition of signage
n
Utilizing computer software and sign making machinery to design and produce signs and graphics
n
Crafting signs by measuring and calculating letter sizes, prepping surfaces, applying background paint using brushes, sprays, or rollers, and fashioning letters with brushes, stencils, enamel paint, and decals
n
Developing wall murals, screen prints, gold leaf work, and custom vehicle art
n
Applying lacquers, varnishes, paints, and various materials for sign and lettering painting
n




Painting signs on various surfaces such as brick, metal, wood, glass, plastic, and others
n
Constructing and installing three-dimensional signs
n
Creating cost estimates for labour and materials
n
Possibly working on scaffolding when needed
n
Potentially installing signs at on-site locations
n
n
Skills and Abilities
n
n
Ideally have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Signwriter
n
Certificate III in Signs and Graphics or other relevant qualification
n
Ability to work in a team setting
n
n
