Role Purpose
n
This role is responsible for producing timely, engaging and newsworthy video content across all digital platforms. You'll play a key role in capturing the essence of the Tasmania Devils, from match-day moments to behind-the-scenes storytelling, ensuring every piece of content reflects the Club's values, identity and brand. Your responsibilities will include:

Content Production & Filming
n

Capture high-quality footage of press conferences, player interviews, training sessions and sponsor activations
n
Support studio-based filming and content production
n
Lead the execution of the Club's YouTube strategy through engaging long-form content
n
n
Editing & Content Delivery
n
n
Edit match footage into engaging highlight packages for fans and stakeholders
n
Produce tailored video content for internal departments and commercial partners
n
Attend evening and weekend matches, and travel as required, to capture live and behind-the-scenes content
n
n
Brand & Stakeholder Engagement
n
n
Develop video content aligned with the Club's content strategy and tone of voice
n
Ensure all video output is consistent, on-brand and professionally produced
n




Build robust working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
n
n
What you'll bring
n
n
Strong understanding of pre-production planning, including scripting, shot lists, lighting and stakeholder communication
n
High-level camera operation skills with a strong eye for framing and audio capture
n
Proven experience in video and audio editing using professional editing software
n
Strong knowledge of Apple Mac OS and Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop
n
Experience working in a multimedia studio setting
n
Understanding of multimedia systems, video management systems (VMS) and encoding workflows
n
Knowledge of sports media production, particularly football content
n
Ability to create engaging content tailored to sporting audiences and digital platforms
n
Creative instincts balanced with technical precision; you can imagine the story and then run the shoot that captures it
n

The Fine Print

Full-time, permanent, based in Hobart and reporting to the Head of Content
n
Regular out-of-hours work required, including evening and weekend matches, plus travel as required
n
