About the role:
n
To support our planned growth we are searching for our next Building Certifier | Surveyor to join our QLD team.
n
Your role will include:
n
n
working across predominately residential projects
n
carrying out building assessments and inspections
n
issuing Compliance Certificates and Certificates of Occupancy
n
providing building compliance advice to a wide range of clients
n
investigating and resolving client requests
n
involvement in the development, implementation and improvement of processes and procedures
n
n
You'll be backed by a dedicated client experience admin team supporting the certification process end-to-end — less time on admin, more time on the technical work.
n
About you:
n
You bring experience in building certification and a genuine commitment to first-class client service. You're proactive, resilient, and communicate clearly — and you thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
n
You'll also have:
n
n
Current QBCC registration as a Building Certifier (Level 1, 2 or 3), or eligibility to gain registration
n
A recognised qualification (Diploma in Building Surveying,



Bachelor in Construction Management, or equivalent recognised by AIBS or RICS)
n
Strong MS Office skills and adaptability to new systems
n
High-level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare complex reports
n
Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask while keeping projects on track
n
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
n
Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills
n
A valid driver's licence and full legal work rights in Australia
n
